$CHARON
The ferryman's coin. Hold or stake it and every crossing on Charon costs less; every crossing feeds it back.
The only contract
0x65e4d3FECa39b2B11Db522adF6530bcccF9D77DC
- On Elysium, launched on Kleos: 1B supply, all of it in the pool, LP locked by the launchpad.
- Pinned as the official token on Elysium Routes. Any other token named Charon is not ours.
Elysium is not on public mainnet yet. HYPE sent there cannot come back to HyperEVM until withdrawals are confirmed. Only bring what you are fine leaving there.
Where its demand comes from
From products people pay for, not from new tokens:
- Outside money buys and burns it. Projects pay in $CHARON to be verified or boosted, and that $CHARON is burned.
- Revenue buys it back. Part of what Charon earns buys $CHARON on the market.
- Staking pays. Rewards in HYPE, lower fees, more points, more tools.
What it does, product by product
- Swap on HyperEVMLIVE: stays 0 fee for everyone. It is the front door, not a toll.
- Verified CABUILDING: a project signs from its deployer wallet to prove it owns the token, pays in $CHARON (about 5 HYPE worth) and gets a ✓ on Elysium Routes and its share card. Tokens using the same name are pushed down with a warning. 100% of the fee is burned.
- BoostBUILDING: a verified token pays in $CHARON (about 2 HYPE worth per 24h) for a labelled BOOSTED slot on Trending. 100% burned. Unverified tokens cannot boost.
- Charon ProBUILDING: trading on the HyperCore order book carries a small builder fee. Stake weight lowers it, down to zero at the top tier.
- Ferry FundPLANNED: revenue is split between buying back and burning $CHARON and paying stakers in HYPE. The split is published before Pro fees go live, and every buyback, burn and payout is listed with its transaction.
- Charon AlertsPLANNED: basic alerts free, the full feed for stakers.
- ObolsPLANNED: points for using Charon, counted on fees paid (so wash volume cannot farm them) and multiplied by stake weight.
Staking
Staking is how $CHARON holders share in what Charon earns. It comes in two steps.
Step 1: hold-to-stake season PLANNED
- Sign a message with your wallet to join. No contract, no deposit: your tokens never leave your wallet.
- Stake weight is the lowest balance your wallet held over the period, so buying right before a snapshot does not count.
- It counts for Pro fee tiers, Alerts and the Obols multiplier.
- Wallets that hold through the season get a Genesis bonus when the staking contract ships.
Step 2: the staking contract PLANNED
Ships on Elysium once its mainnet is public and withdrawals are confirmed, not before, and only after a public review.
| Lock | Weight |
|---|---|
| 30 days | 1× |
| 90 days | 1.5× |
| 180 days | 2.5× |
| 365 days | 4× |
What stake weight gets you:
- Rewards in HYPE from the Ferry Fund, shared by weight. Paid in HYPE, not in new $CHARON.
- Lower fees on Charon Pro, down to zero at the top tier.
- Obols multiplier each season.
- Charon Pass: the full Alerts feed, advanced filters on Elysium Routes, advanced orders on Pro, early access to new products.
- Discounts on Verified and Boost for projects that stake.
- A say in what Charon routes next and how the Ferry Fund is split.
Leaving a lock early is allowed with a penalty, and the penalty is burned.
What is not promised
- No price, return or yield figure. Rewards depend on revenue that does not exist yet.
- No dates. Items marked Planned can still change; the numbers above (Verified and Boost prices, lock weights) can be tuned before launch.
- No airdrop.
Charon is independent and not affiliated with Hyperliquid, Kinetiq, Kleos or any launchpad.
