HyperCore reference
The dashed row in the route list: what Hyperliquid’s own spot order book would give you.
HyperCore is the order book layer of Hyperliquid, and its spot markets are among the deepest venues for HYPE. When both of your tokens trade there, Charon reads the book and works out what a market order of your size would return, after the base-tier taker fee of 0.07%.
Why you cannot swap on it yet
Funds on HyperEVM and on HyperCore live in different places. Trading on the book means moving tokens to HyperCore, trading, and moving them back, with transfer delays in between. Charon v1 only swaps on HyperEVM, so the row is there for comparison: if it is often much better for your pair, that is worth knowing.
What the comparison has shown so far
For 1 HYPE against dollars, the book has mostly landed within a fraction of a percent of the best HyperEVM route, sometimes better and sometimes worse after its taker fee. It is more likely to help on large orders and on tokens with thin HyperEVM pools. Routing through HyperCore is on the roadmap.
