FAQ
What does the Bridge cost?
1% of the amount each way, in HYPE, taken in the same transaction. Going in, up to 0.00012 HYPE also pays Elysium's delivery gas; whatever is not used is refunded to you on Elysium. Coming back, the claim costs a little HyperEVM gas (about 0.00004 HYPE).
How long does it take?
HyperEVM to Elysium usually lands within 15 minutes. Elysium to HyperEVM takes about 6–7 days: Elysium posts a checkpoint of its state about every 12 hours, each checkpoint waits a challenge period of 483,840 HyperEVM blocks (about 5.6 days), and then you claim.
Why does withdrawing take a week?
Elysium is an optimistic rollup (Arbitrum's technology). HyperEVM accepts what Elysium says only after a window in which anyone could prove a checkpoint wrong. Every Elysium bridge, a launchpad's included, waits for the same window; Charon shows you exactly where yours is.
Does Charon hold my HYPE?
No. Each way is one transaction you sign, sent through Elysium's own contracts: the Inbox on HyperEVM to go in, ArbSys on Elysium and the Outbox on HyperEVM to come back. Charon has no contract in between and cannot move or stop your funds.
Where does my HYPE arrive?
At the same address on the other chain. That is why smart-contract wallets are refused: the same address may not exist, or not be yours, on the other side.
Do I need to keep this page open?
No. A deposit arrives by itself. A withdrawal stays in Your history on this page, with its date; come back when it says Ready to claim and press Claim from the same wallet (anyone can claim it for you, the HYPE always goes to you).
What if a deposit says Redeem?
Rarely, Elysium's automatic delivery fails (for example when Elysium's gas spikes). The HYPE is safe in a ticket for 7 days; press Redeem and it is delivered.
Can I see withdrawals I made on a launchpad?
Yes. Withdrawals from your wallet show up here whoever started them, and you can claim them here too.
What is Charon's RPC?
https://rpc.charonswap.xyz is an Elysium RPC run by Charon. It reads from the community nodes and relays your signed transactions into Elysium's Inbox itself, so your swaps and withdrawals do not depend on a launchpad's RPC.
Anything else to know?
Elysium is pre-mainnet: its public launch may change endpoints, and nobody can shorten the withdrawal window. Bridge what you are fine leaving on Elysium for a week. Minimum 0.01 HYPE.
