The best route lights up

  • 0 fee
  • Simulated before you sign
  • HyperCore price for reference

Charon asks every aggregator and pool on HyperEVM for a price at once, and lights up the one that pays you the most after fees and gas. Every swap needs a ferryman.

FAQ

What is this?

Charon is a swap aggregator for HyperEVM. It asks KyberSwap, HyperFlow, Nordstern (and 0x when enabled) and quotes the Project X, Nest and Uniswap v3 pools directly, then shows every answer side by side so you can see which one pays you the most. It also shows what the HyperCore order book would fill, as a reference.

Does Charon take a fee?

Not on HyperEVM market swaps: every amount you see is what the source itself pays, after its pool or aggregator fees. Limit, take-profit and stop-loss orders carry 0.1% of what they receive, only when they fill. Swaps on Elysium (beta) carry 0.2%, in HYPE, on top of the launchpad's own tax; $CHARON trades pay none. Every fee is shown before you sign.

How do I get HYPE to Elysium and back?

Use the Bridge tab. It goes through Elysium's own contracts and Charon holds nothing; Charon takes 1% each way. HyperEVM to Elysium usually lands within 15 minutes. Elysium to HyperEVM waits for the rollup's checkpoint and challenge period, about 6–7 days, then you press Claim on the same page.

Is it safe?

Charon never holds your tokens: every swap goes straight from your wallet to the router of the route you picked. Only known routers are allowed, and anything else is refused before your wallet is asked. Approvals cover exactly the amount you sell. Each swap is built fresh on the server and simulated on-chain right before you sign; if it would fail or pay less than you reviewed, it stops.

How is the best route chosen?

By what you actually receive after pool or aggregator fees and gas, valued in dollars. Routes that would move the price more than 3% for your amount are shown but never picked.

Can I swap on the HyperCore row?

Not yet. That row shows what a market order on the HyperCore spot book would return after the taker fee, so you can compare. Moving funds between HyperEVM and HyperCore takes extra steps, so Charon v1 only swaps on HyperEVM.

Why might a swap take about a minute?

HyperEVM has small blocks every second and big blocks every minute. Almost every swap fits a small block. A very complex route may need more gas than a small block holds and then waits for a big one; Charon tells you when that happens.

Is Charon part of Hyperliquid?

No. Charon is an independent app built on HyperEVM. It is not affiliated with Hyperliquid, Kinetiq or any DEX it routes through.
